Un/orthodox is a body of work, created in first semester of second year, designed as part of a studio looking into avant-garde methods of tailoring. Inspiration was taken from modular and utilitarian garments and bags, using a balance of orthodox and unorthodox methods of tailoring in the aim of creating something unique

Veils of Cirrus, otherwise known by their acronym V.o.C, was a Melbourne-based creative practice formed by Amy Forbes & Caitlin Mullaly.
Conjuring one-of-a-kind garments from their studio in Brunswick, their multidisciplinary work was driven by storytelling and craftsmanship. Expressed through physical and digital mediums with a focus on tactile and wearable forms, they made unique everyday wear for ethereal beings.
Motivated by a necessity for considered slow methods of design, they produced micro-runs of environmentally considered clothing and accessories. They aimed to infuse quality and longevity in every piece. Collaboration and cross-pollination across local creative networks were core values. They hoped to bridge different art disciplines, creating a realm into the unknown.
CIRRUS (n.) /ˈsɪrəs/ 1708. A curl-like cloud formation. From Latin, meaning “a lock of hair, tendril, ringlet.”
